The 12th Reuters Events: Responsible Business Awards has shortlisted Nexii as a finalist in the Product or Service Innovation Category. The Responsible Business Awards recognize businesses challenging the status quo and leading the way to a sustainable future and serve as a benchmark for businesses from across the globe looking to showcase leadership against their international peers. Over the past two years, there have been 32 winning entrants from 19 different countries. Walgreens, Moody’s and Trane Technologies are among the 100+ nominees shortlisted for this year’s Responsible Business Awards.

Nexii designs and manufactures high-performance buildings and retrofit products that are cost-efficient, use less energy, and are resilient in the face of climate change. Nexii’s building designs use an innovative building system and proprietary material, “Nexiite,” that minimizes embodied carbon, construction waste, and energy use while reducing build times and costs versus conventional building products.

“We are thrilled to participate and be shortlisted in the Responsible Business Awards recognizing innovation and excellence in sustainable design,” said Gregor Robertson, executive vice president, strategy and partnerships for Nexii. “Sustainability is core to our mission to build a vibrant future for people and the planet. Buildings are a significant contributor to climate pollution, accounting for 39% of emissions globally. Nexii’s sustainable approach to building further reduces climate impacts by requiring fewer resources, producing far less waste, and using non-toxic materials for healthier living.”

This year’s Awards ceremony will be celebrated virtually on October 14.
