Michael is a former business executive and leader in the engineering industry. He previously served as the chairperson and chief executive officer of AECOM where he oversaw the successful IPO on the NYSE. He also served on the board of directors of KPMG and the board of directors for Archer Daniels Midland Company.

As a global leader in business, Michael is also the former co-chair of the steering committee on Infrastructure and Urban Development Industries for the World Economic Forum. Michael brings to Nexii a wealth of experience and knowledge of particularly with managing the designing and building of global infrastructure assets.

Dennis is a seasoned advisor, helping companies identify, recruit and retain top-tier executives. For the past 12 years, he has served as vice chairperson of Korn Ferry International where he recruits board directors, chief executive officers, and senior leadership executives.

Dennis has authored six books and published more than 50 journal articles on leadership and talent development. Serving on the board of directors for Nexii, Dennis will provide strong leadership support as the company scales globally and attracts top-tier talent.

Ram brings his expertise in business leadership to Nexii where he will support the senior executives in scaling the business from start-up to a global business that transforms the construction industry with sustainable, cost-efficient solutions.

Marillyn Hewson

Marillyn was formerly the chairperson, president, and chief executive officer of Lockheed Martin. Under her leadership, Lockheed doubled its market capitalization and implemented energy and environmental stewardship initiatives that resulted in a range of recognition, including CDP’s ‘A List’ for global climate change practices.

Throughout her 39-year tenure, she held multiple Lockheed leadership positions, including executive vice president Electronic Systems; president Systems Integration; executive vice president Global Sustainment for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, and president and general manager of Kelly Aviation Center, L.P.

Repeatedly recognized for her outstanding leadership on a world stage, Marillyn was ranked number one on Fortune Magazine’s “50 Most Powerful Women in Business” list and top ten for their “Businessperson of the Year”; “CEO of the Year” by Chief Executive magazine; and in top ten of Forbes’ “World’s 100 Most Powerful Women”.

Marillyn currently serves on the boards of Johnson & Johnson and Chevron and brings her extensive business expertise and understanding of global partnerships, government alliances and expansion strategies to the Nexii team.

Vice chairperson, former chairperson and CEO of Vanguard

F. William McNabb III is the former chairperson and chief executive officer of Vanguard. He joined Vanguard in 1986. In 2008, he became chief executive officer; in 2010, he became chairperson of the board of directors and the board of trustees. He stepped down as chief executive officer at the end of 2017 and as chairperson at the end of 2018. Earlier in his career, he led each of Vanguard’s client-facing business divisions.

Mr. McNabb is active in the investment management industry and served as the chairperson of the Investment Company Institute’s board of governors from 2013 to 2016. A board member of UnitedHealth Group, IBM, and Axiom, he is also chairman of Ernst & Young’s Independent Audit Committee. In January 2021, he joined the board of Tilney Smith & Williamson, a U.K. wealth management and professional services group, as a non-executive director.

He is a board member of CECP: The CEO Force for Good, a board member of the Philadelphia School Partnership, and the chairman of the board of the Zoological Society of Philadelphia. In addition, Mr. McNabb is the executive in residence at the Raj & Kamla Gupta Governance Institute at the LeBow College of Business and a member of the advisory board of the Ira M. Millstein Center for Global Markets and Corporate Ownership at Columbia Law School. He is a senior fellow of the Wharton Center for Leadership and Change Management. He also serves on the Dartmouth Athletic advisory board.

After a long career as a commercial lawyer and of Western Canada’s leading M&A specialists, Peter is now focused on board governance. Having served on over 30 business and not-for-profit boards over the past 30 years, in addition to his role at Nexii, Peter is currently on the boards of a leading Canadian wealth management firm, a major regional construction and development company, a leading regional window and siding manufacturer and installer, a mid-level global relief and development INGO, two disruptive platform businesses – one in the fintech sector and the other in health and wellness – and an African microfinance bank. He chairs four boards, vice-chairs another and sits on an audit committee. Peter is also a chief executive officer at Peer Forum Group Chair.

Ron is a global business leader in technology, manufacturer, aerospace and defense, previously serving as the chief executive officer of Northrop Grumman. He now serves as the chairperson of Uber and sits on the board of directors for Apple. Ron is also a member of the board of trustees of the University of Southern California and of the National Academy of Engineering.

As a member of Nexii’s board of directors, Ron brings his expertise in managing and overseeing many of the most successful multinational corporations in their respective industries. Ron’s guidance will be valuable to the entire Nexii leadership team as the company scales globally.

David S. Taylor

David S. Taylor is Procter & Gamble’s executive chairman and the former chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer. As P&G’s former chief executive officer, David is credited with implementing key environmental and social initiatives, navigating the company through the pandemic, and, along with P&G people, leading the transformation of the 180-year-old consumer-packaged-goods company, returning it to sustainable, balanced growth and value creation.

David has over 40 years of experience across many of P&G’s core categories and markets, including product supply, brand management and leading global businesses. He was named P&G’s president and chief executive officer in November 2015 and became chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer in July 2016. He was appointed executive chairman of the board in November 2021.

In addition, David serves on the board of directors of Delta Air Lines and as the chairman of The Alliance to End Plastic Waste, a CEO-led, cross value chain initiative to advance solutions to eliminate unmanaged plastic waste in the environment.

As a key part of the Nexii board, David will contribute his extensive experience in manufacturing production, brand building, and marketing strategies, supporting Nexii as it scales across North America, with a sight to future international expansion.

Ben Dombowsky

Ben has been a creative problem solver, innovator and inventor his whole life, with experience founding several ventures and bringing multiple products to market. He is the co-founder of Energy Sustainable Structures Inc., a building research and development company based in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, which formed the basis and inspiration for the Nexii assembly system and Nexiite material.

As the vice president of business development, he helped lead the company in developing numerous products and processes in the area of materials sciences and manufacturing that are revolutionizing the way buildings are constructed.

Michael Dombowsky

Co-founder, co-inventor & senior vice president of building technology

Michael is a prolific inventor and developer of building products and systems with a passion for sustainable structures and sustainable living. Most notably, Michael is the inventor behind the Nexii whole building solution. For over 40 years, he has designed and built projects from custom residential to multi-family, commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings. During that time, he also manufactured the structural steel and precast concrete for this wide range of buildings.

In addition to his numerous inventions, Michael’s creativity flourished with the notable accomplishment of the design and construction of Tunnels of Moose Jaw — a national award-winning tourist attraction that has boasted over 2 million tourists from around the world over the last 20 years.

Ambassador Joseph W. Westphal, Ph.D.

Advisor, Former U.S. Ambassador and Under Secretary of the Army

Ambassador Joseph W. Westphal is Global Senior Fellow at the Joseph H. Lauder Institute of Management and International Studies at The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Westphal is also a Senior Fellow at the Center for Leadership and Change Management at Wharton, Fellow at the National Academy of Public Administration and Non-Resident Fellow at the International Studies Center of the Catholic University of Chile.

Ambassador Westphal has had a long and distinguished career in government and academia. Dr. Westphal was the U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from March 2014 to January 2017.

Prior to this appointment, Ambassador Westphal was the Under Secretary of the Army and its Chief Management Officer from 2009 to 2014. In this role, Dr. Westphal was the lead on Force Management and the Army’s business operations. He also held the positions of Assistant Secretary of the Army (Head of the Army Corps of Engineers) from 1998 to 2000 and Acting Secretary of the Army in 2001.

He has held positions in the administrations of Presidents Carter, Reagan, Clinton, Bush, and Obama, working in the Department of the Interior, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Defense, and the Department of State. Dr. Westphal has served on academic boards as well as nonprofit and public advisory boards.

Michael also served as the BC chair of the Institute of corporate directors, promoting and educating individuals on corporate governance best practices. He currently chair’s a number of corporate board audit & conduct committees where he also acts as the lead director, providing technology expertise and governance to the board. Additionally, Michael serves on the board of the business Development Bank of Canada, Mundoro Capital Inc. and several private company advisory boards.

Michael is now offering guidance and support to Nexii, ensuring it has robust and secure information technology and data systems in place as it scales.

Stanley is the founder and chief creative officer of Tether, a creative agency with clients such as Nike, Gatorade, BMW, and Microsoft. Previously, Stanley spent many years at Nike as a creative director before moving to Denmark to take on the role of global creative director for Lego. He later returned to the Pacific Northwest as vice president, global creative at Starbucks in Seattle before launching his own company. Stanley currently advises on brand strategy and development.
