Retrofitting with a goal of net zero carbon

Addressing the need for low thermal load buildings in a fully decarbonized building sector, Nexii worked with collaborators to create a Panel Prototype for retrofits. The project team set out to develop panel prototypes that can be manufactured to help retrofits reach net zero carbon goals. ​Two variations will be deployed, each with high-performance, low-embodied carbon insulation, structural support, and window and doors to comprise a fully unitized exterior retrofit panel.
