Nexii partnered with PEG Companies to deliver the exterior envelope for the highly anticipated Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Nanaimo, BC. This 172-room hotel is the first Marriott hotel north of Greater Victoria on Vancouver Island.
Nexii’s innovative building system not only reduces the hotel’s climate impact but also minimizes onsite construction waste to nearly zero. The building envelope, consisting of 750 panels, was produced at Nexii’s facility in Squamish, BC. Using precision manufacturing and 3D software, Nexii’s panels are custom designed to meet the project’s specifications. Once on-site, the panels fit together seamlessly, creating an airtight envelope that improves the building's energy efficiency and reduces long-term energy costs.
Made from Nexiite, a sustainable alternative to concrete, Nexii panels significantly reduce carbon emissions throughout the construction process. With Nexii’s technology, buildings are completed faster, smarter, and greener, helping them operate more sustainably from day one.
