Accelerating Construction with Nexiiâs Innovative Building Process
This 3,800-square-foot Scotiabank retail branch in Abbotsford, British Columbia, was constructed using Nexiiâs advanced panelized assembly process. Compared to traditional construction methods, this approach significantly reduced both material usage and construction time. The building features 9,750 square feet of Nexiiâs high-performance structural wall and roof panels, designed for efficiency and sustainability.
The result is a commercial unit with a superior building envelope, made from non-toxic materials that promote healthier indoor environmentsâfree from VOCs or off-gassing and significantly improving air quality. Nexiiâs panels are custom-designed and manufactured offsite, with fully integrated service openings and finishes, and then assembled on-site. Completed in September 2021, this project sets a new standard for both speed and sustainability in construction.
