NeXii is lead by a dynamic professional team with experience in traditional capital markets, non-profit environmental and social markets, private equity, electronic investment transaction systems development, public policy and international finance.
Tamzin Ractliffe
Tamzin is widely regarded as creating the first social investment exchange in the world and has been a visionary leader for GreaterGood South Africa – an African online social development networking platform - and its related social businesses, CSR Systems and Greater Capital. Tamzin has worked in private equity and investment banking in South Africa and internationally for more than twenty years and has continually sought to use the markets for greater social good. She established the South African Social Investment Exchange (SASIX) in 2006 to facilitate performance-based philanthropy and social investment whilst also leveraging larger-scale external investment in social financial offerings. For the past eighteen months, Tamzin has focused on establishing NeXii to promote coherence and organization for maximum efficiencies in the impact investing sector. She was awarded the GIBS Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2007 and appointed an Ashoka fellow in 2008.
Vincent R. Molinari
Mr. Molinari is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Global Alternative Trading Engine, LLC/ GATE and the founder of Global Access Holdings LLC, a financial media and analytics company, which identified the global trend line of illiquid securities and the related need for an alternative asset trading platform. Before founding Global Access Holdings, Mr. Molinari was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Burlington Capital Markets LLC, a financial services company, specializing in institutional execution services and investment banking activities. Mr. Molinari began his career at Lehman Brothers Inc., and he has held senior positions at Janney Montgomery Scott Inc., and Ridgewood Capital, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, technology, and capital formation transactions. He holds a B.B.A. in International Business from the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University.
Lori Livingston
Ms. Livingston is the founder, president and CEO of Transfer Online Inc., Transfer Online Technology Development, as well as a co-founder and the technology innovator of Global Alternative Trading Engine, LLC or GATE. Ms. Livingston is an entrepreneur who has worked in the financial services industry for over 27 years and is considered an expert in her field serving as a trusted advisor and sometimes board member to her many clients and network of affiliates. In 1999 she founded Transfer Online, a stock transfer and registrar agency, and was the first in the industry to bring transfer agent services and full reporting to the internet. Very early on Ms. Livingston saw the need for, and developed, applications specifically for the processing and trading of illiquid securities. Although originally for individual issuers and their shareholders, the platform quickly evolved when soon after launching the original platform she was approached by MasterCard International to adapt the platform for the purpose of trading their Class B securities held by institutions worldwide. Soon after she was approached by others who sought to expand the scope of the platform to serve their purposes until 2009 when she joined forces with Vincent Molinari and co-founded GATE. Ms. Livingston has a degree from California State University, Northridge where she graduated with honors as the Julian Beck scholar.
Carol Tappenden
Carol has worked within the social development sector for more than a decade and has significant experience in designing and implementing CSI and SRI programs with nonprofit organizations, multi-national corporations and international development agencies. She participated in the establishment of GreaterGood South Africa in 2004 and SASIX in 2006 and was most recently Managing Director of GreaterGood’s social enterprise, CSR Systems (Pty) Ltd. Carol will expand the representation of intermediaries and issuers engaging with NeXii.
