Nexii Newsletter Edition 5 : August 2012

Welcome to the latest edition of Nexii Impact Insights. Over the last few months, the impact investing sector has been buzzing with activity, and so too has Nexii.

In this edition of Impact Insights, we highlight key thoughts on The road ahead for impact investing from OPIC CEO, Elizabeth Littlefield’s keynote address at the recent Impact Leader’s Forum. We look at Harvard professor, Michael Sandel’s new book “What Money Can’t Buy: the Moral Limits of Markets” in If you can quantify it you can buy it, and question whether it’s possible to profit from a good action and still feel good about it.

Also in Beyond capital: the value of listing a social business on an exchange, we look at the journey of listing a social business on an exchange, and explore how the value of listing goes far beyond simple capital-raising.
